Missing date work on a bracket clock
.jpg)
The wheel which is usually missing is shown at the 6 o'clock position and engages with a wheel on the hour wheel hub. It provides a 2-1 drive between the hour wheel hub gear and the date indicator, indexing the date wheel one tooth every 24 hours. The pin on the date wheel engages with the 31 teeth of the date ring on the back of the dial.
We require the front plate with the hour wheel bridge and hour wheel hub gear to make a replacement. Send the dial assembly if you wish us to fit the date wheel indexing pin so that it indexes the calendar ring.
