French fourth pinion

Pinion shown mounted to wheel and collet for illustrative purposes only.

This wheel and pinion is found on spring driven French time pieces which have a platform escapement mounted on the back plate. The platform escape pinion protrudes through an aperture in the back plate, gearing into the fourth wheel.

The price quoted is for making a hardened, tempered and polished pinion.

If you require an existing wheel to be refitted to the new pinion, add cost of collet and mounting.
