When ordering a replacement pinion the simplest solution is to send the original for us to copy. An alternative is to send a sketch using the above diagram as a model.

If you wish us to make any changes to an original pinion, such as increasing the shoulder length to reduce end shake, make a sketch to illustrate your requirements.

The most important details are: (1) the diameter of the pinion head and number of teeth, (2) the shoulder length, (3) the diameters of the pivots.
